Skip Bayless, the co-host of the Undisputed, takes yet another dig at LeBron James, calls him out for stat padding against the Wolves.

The Los Angeles Lakers made sure they didn’t lose two in a row, as they beat the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight. The Lakers won the contest 112-104. With the win tonight, they improve to a 22-7 record.

LeBron James led the Lakeshow in Anthony Davis’ absence. LBJ scored 30 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and dished 7 assists. Dennis Schroder added 24 points to the tally, whereas Montrezl Harrell chipped in with 17 points of his own.

The Timberwolves had six different players scoring in the double digits, but the Lakers were too much for them to handle. They were led by their rookie sensation Anthony Edwards. Edwards scored 28 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and recorded 5 assists.

Skip Bayless takes a dig at LeBron James, says he cannot catch Michael Jordan

Skip Bayless has always been one of LeBron James’ biggest critics, and he did not miss a chance to do some critiquing tonight. The Los Angeles Lakers had a comfortable 11 point lead over the Wolves with 4 minutes left in the game. Despite this fact, LBJ was still on the court and did not go to the bench.

Skip used this chance to accuse LBJ of stat-padding. He also added that since LeBron James cannot catch Michael Jordan in the GOAT race, so he’s chasing Kareem Abdul Jabbar for the record for the most points scored.

Ruling out LeBron James from the GOAT race would be premature, although what Skip talks about makes sense. In a game where the Lakers had a clear advantage, LeBron James should have taken some rest.

The Lakers have already got Anthony Davis ruled out for at least the next 3 weeks, and that leaves all the burden on LBJ alone. LeBron should rest whenever he can, so he stays ready for the next game, and not tire himself out.
