“Jamal Murray, don’t you ever yes sir me again”: Richard Jefferson absolutely stumps the Nuggets guard in post-game interview
Richard Jefferson plays a hilarious prank on Jamal Murray after the Nuggets star’s impressive performance against the Bulls.
No fan of the NBA can forget Jamal Murray’s electrifying performances during the NBA Playoffs last season. With that being said, many have been a bit disappointed with the star’s inconsistencies this season.
However, this most certainly wasn’t the case against the Chicago Bulls. Murray played a pivotal role in the Denver Nuggets’ convincing victory against a rejuvenated Chicago Bulls side.
However, it isn’t quite his 24 point performance that has caught the eye of fans. Former NBA player and ESPN analyst Richard Jefferson was responsible for handling Murray’s post-game interview, an opportunity he would use to prank the star.

Jefferson is, by consensus, the funniest recent hiree to sports broadcasting. He has legendary comic timing, and given how he’s friends with half the league, he’s always got amazing and juicy stories to tell us all when he’s behind the microphone.
Nets fans are arguably the most spoiled fanbase in the league given how they have the amazing play-by-play announcer Ian Eagle as well.
“Don’t you ever ‘Yes sir’ me again”: Richard Jefferson plays a hilarious prank on Jamal Murray
As Jamal Murray settled in and put his headset on, Richard Jefferson asked the player if he could hear him. Murray responded with “Yes sir yes sir”, which was the perfect setup for RJ to get his joke in:
“Don’t you dare yes sir me ever again, don’t you dare…just don’t let it happen again.”
As you can imagine, Murray’s reaction to this was utter confusion, something that has fans of the NBA bawling in laughter at the moment.
