Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts reveals the moment his opinion on Ultimate Warrior changed . Both of these legends were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame 2014.

According to Jake Roberts on the the documentary series Dark Side Of The Ring, he was set for a run with the WWE Championship but Ultimate Warrior refused to drop the title to him. The WWE hall of famer was told by Warrior that  he didn’t care about him or anyone.

This hurt and angered Roberts, who held on to his feelings until the night they were both to be inducted in to the WWE Hall of Fame. He claimed that he intended to harm Warrior with a roll of quarters. However, he was surprised by Warrior’s actions instead.

“I had a roll of quarters in my pocket and I was going to beat his a**. And I’m waiting on him, looking for him, of course, Warrior being Warrior they had him in a private area and security guards and all that. I had to wait and I had to wait and I had to wait and I’m boiling, I’m boiling, I’m boiling. And then all of a sudden, somebody tapped me on the back. Turned around and it was Warrior.

“He put his hands up and said ‘Please, just let me do this. I need to apologise to you and your family. That’s who I was then but that wasn’t me. But if it means anything, just know that I’m sorry.’ He disarmed me. Another lesson in life man, that’s what I got. A lesson.”

Both of these legends were inducted into the Hall of Fame on April 5. His final WWE appearance was on April 7 where he gave an impassioned speech to his fans. He passed away the very next day due to a heart attack.
