“We will keep him busy”– Red Bull to keep Dan Fallows engaged with them till 2023, while Aston Martin attempts to poach him.

As Red Bull broadens its operations with the power unit management from 2022, it successfully poached some prominent names from their rivals, Mercedes.

But, they are losing their chief of aerodynamics– Dan Fallows to Aston Martin, where he will take up the role of technical director, but the Silverstone based team has to wait for some time, maybe till 2023.

”Our situation concerning Dan is evident. He is working on the car, and he is working on the car for next season. He has a significant period left in his contract.”

“He signed a new deal at the end of last year, so we have a lot of time before it expires in mid-2023. We will keep him busy until the contract expires,” Christian Horner said to Motorsport.com.

Dan is coming, says confident Aston Martin.

Horner has clarified that Fallows would have to serve the end of his current contract before moving to another team. Still, Aston Martin’s boss is confident about bringing Fallows to his factory but waiting for the right time.

Speaking at the Styrian Grand Prix press conference regarding Fallows’ signing, Szafnauer said: “He’s a great addition to our team, he’s a like-minded individual, he’s a high performer, he’s won world championships, he knows Seb, so we look forward to Dan joining.

“The start time we’re still working on… [but] it’s 100% signed, sealed, delivered, Dan is coming. It’s just a matter of the timing,” he concluded.

Aston Martin took over from Racing Point this year but didn’t manage to replicate its last year’s performances so far. So, the team is looking to add some vital additions that could elevate the team’s challenge in the championship race.
