John Cena is expected to answer Roman Reigns’ open challenge
John Cena is making time out of his busy schedule to appear for the Christmas edition of RAW and the entire year end live events.
Until now it was unclear on what role would Cena play in his appearance. As per reports, Cena will answer Roman Reigns’ Intercontinental Championship open challenge.
This would be the second time that The 16 time world champion would face “The Big Dog”, having already faced each other at No Mercy earlier this year.

Cena is already scheduled for two live events later this year. He will face Roman Reigns on December 26 at the iconic Madison Square Garden for the RAW live event.
Since he is a free agent, he will face AJ Styles and Jinder Mahal in a triple threat match for the blue brand’s live event.
Cena was last seen on television during Survivor Series, where he was a part of Team SmackDown in the 5 on 5 Survivor Series elimination match.
Reigns won the Intercontinental title from The Miz a few weeks back and reintroduced the open challenge set by Cena earlier when he held the United States title.
It would be interesting to see two highly enigmatic figures collide once again. But, this time the stakes would be higher since there is a title on the line.
Will Cena capture the elusive Intercontinental Championship or will Roman Reigns stay supreme? All we can do is wait for the answer to unveil in a few weeks time.
