Watch: Former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon Uses the N-Word on Live Television

In this modern era, there is no place for discrimination no matter what gender, color, or religion anyone belongs to. Authorities across all sports make sure their employees get equal treatment and no sentiments are hurt. It’s no different with the current product of WWE that is delivered on national TV. However, during the Attitude Era, that wasn’t the case. In fact, a fan recently posted a video on social media showing ex-WWE CEO Vince McMahon using the N-word on John Cena.

From the late 90s to the mid-2000s, WWE was well-known for producing content that was very edgy in nature. Obviously, that kind of storyline must have had language that won’t go well today. One such moment was recently brought to light by a WWE fan on Twitter.

Vince McMahon stunned Booker T and his wife by using the N-word on John Cena

The incident took place during a backstage segment at the 2005 Survivor Series. The then-hilarious segment saw the former WWE chairman having a chat with The Cenation Leader. However, what caught the eyes of WWE fans after 17 years is Vince McMahon using the N-word on John Cena while Booker T and his were there.

A fan took to his Twitter handle and attached the infamous segment with a thread that shared such moments of McMahon.

During his time, Vince McMahon often portrayed a villainous character onscreen. With the kind of era that was, one can mention many segments where the ex-CEO performed several objectionable acts.

It was no different behind the scenes and ultimately became the reason why he retired earlier this year. As far as using the n-word goes, he has often received backlash after that.

In July 2015, a private video of Hulk Hogan surfaced where he could be seen using the n-word. The matter had gone to court which led to WWE cutting ties with the Hall of Famer.

However, in no time, fans brought up the above-discussed segment and slammed Vince McMahon’s decision. Although WWE tried to defend its actions by calling that a fictional thing, the criticism didn’t stop.

Nevertheless, gone are those times when skits like these would air on national TV. Nowadays, the product is made in such a way that it offends nobody. And if by any chance, someone makes a derogatory remark, he or she can end up losing their career.
