Tua Tagovailoa’s Ridiculous Stats Proves That He Is One of The Best Passers In NFL 2022-23 Season
This season, Tua is the NFL’s top performer in terms of completion percentage on passes that travel more than 10 yards downfield (67%). He also has the highest percentage (43%) of attempts that cover 10 yards or more. He consistently stretches the field with his success. Since air yards were first tracked in 2006, no QB has led the NFL in either category.

Now that more than halfway through the NFL season has passed, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins have had a generally successful run. The Dolphins are 6-3 and vying for the AFC East championship. With a passer rating of 115.9, Tagovailoa is leading the league and has been productive this season. With two games missed due to a head injury, Tagovailoa still leads the NFL with 15 touchdown passes.
Last weekend, Tua Tagovailoa completed 22 of his 36 passes for 299 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions as he guided the Dolphins to a 30-15 victory over the Texans. Because the Dolphins had to take him out of the game because they were ahead early, he had these stats.
Although statistics don’t always fully capture an athlete’s performance, it appears Tua is adjusting to life in the NFL quite well as he continues to thrive in a team that is at last showing some faith in him.
Miami Dolphins continues to surprise this season
This season, the Miami Dolphins have pleasantly surprised everyone, and Mike McDaniel’s tenure as the team’s head coach could not have begun any better.

Everything appears to be going well for the team, which is 8-3 and has the third-best record in the AFC. This includes having faith, sticking with Tua as the starting quarterback, and trading for Tyreek Hill from the Chiefs.
Tua has improved dramatically this season, finishing with 2,564 passing yards and 19 touchdowns despite missing three games from weeks 4-6 due to a concussion.
