Tom Brady Totally Forgot About His Own Parents & Sisters In San Francisco After Loss Against 49ers
Tom Brady is a champion athlete. He has been active in the league for well over two decades but his hunger to win more football games has stayed intact.
However, it would be fair to say that 2022 hasn’t really been his year, at all. We all know what happened with him on the personal front, as far as his professional life is concerned, Brady has been struggling big time in that facet as well.
Last Sunday, Tom’s Buccaneers took on the San Francisco 49ers and we were all expecting a riveting encounter. However, it turned out to be an absolute disaster for Tampa Bay fans.
Such badly the Bucs were thrashed that they weren’t allowed to score a single point till halftime. To make matters worse, Brock Purdy-led 49ers had gained a 28 point till the end of the second quarter which ultimately proved more than enough to register a famous win.
Tom Brady Was Thrashed By a Young Brock Purdy
As Tom grew up in Bay Area, he always wanted to play for the 49ers. However, the franchise showed no interest in roping him in during the 2000 draft. In fact, they decided not to go after him when he left the Patriots in 2019.
This apparently angered Tom as he grew up watching the likes of Joe Montana and wanted to replicate his heroics while playing for his home team.
Nevertheless, when he took the field against the 49ers, tonnes of people stepped in chanting Tom’s name. In fact, around 100 members joined Brady in the stadium, including parents, sisters and nieces.
However, Brady was so dejected after the embarrassing loss that he left the stadium without even saying Hi to his family members. “I was walking from the locker room to the bus – a kind of long walk of 500 yards or so, and just as I got to the bus the woman who I was with said, ‘Hey, didn’t you want to see your family?‘” Tom said on the recent episode of the “Let’s Go” podcast.
“So I turned around and walked back, and at least after the game I got to see my sisters, nieces and some cousins. My parents left in the third quarter, thankfully, to get home,” Tom added.
While a few people on internet called him arrogant for this, many also claimed that the incident highlights the kind of passion he has for the game.
