Valorant News: ShahZam accuses Sentinels Again, But Now Shroud is Involved in the Conversation
NA Valorant has made Twitter headlines again, courtesy of G2 ShahZam and Sentinels drama. Let’s see what happened.
We previously covered the ShahZam drama when he left Sentinels. However, yesterday, Sentinels uploaded a clip of coach Sykko spinning a wheel to form a strategy for the upcoming VCT 2023. TenZ comes into the picture while the wheel stops spinning, and it reveals, “TenZ, go kill.” The clip ends when both walk off camera debating if the strategy is good or not; this is where the drama starts.

oh yeah, one time I spun the wheel and it landed on “please play with shroud, we don’t care if you win just make it hype. we’ll personally guarantee you a spot in franchising if you do”

ShahZam tweeted the above message, dragging Shroud into the conversation, not in a good way. This comment made waves as literally everyone started trolling ShahZam or the Sentinels for carrying this heat in public. Rob Moore, the CEO, even came into the conversation to say the following in a tweet.
@ShahZaMk It’s weird that since you left all you talk about is how you want to be with the organization, when for all of 2022 you behaved like you didn’t want to be here. It seems like you have returned to the focus you had in 2021. If so, @G2esports will be in great hands.

The tweet makes sense from an outsider’s perspective since ShahZam has continuously been talking about Sentinels in one way or the other. Rob Moore even called him out on his 2021 attitude, where he was infamously trash-talking everyone. The Valorant community thinks ShahZam casts blame on everyone he plays with without looking at his own faults. There might be more to this story than we know. Here’s what Shroud thought:

This controversy even prompted C9 to tweet about the situation, showing us an exaggerated look at what everyone’s reaction might be.

We do not know how long this drama will go on, but whatever it is can wait because VCT 2023 is around the corner. ShahZam’s G2 and Sentinels are both playing, and they do not have to worry about the drama of the past; at least, that’s what we think.
What do you think of this situation? Was ShahZam’s claim justified? Let us know in the comments below!
