Shaquille O’Neal Can’t Help But Show Off His Love For ‘Baby Shaq’ Zion Williamson’s teammate, Jose Alvarado on IG
Shaquille O’Neal is one of those guys that just loves watching the best in the NBA, especially when they have a game resembling what he used to look like. And if you didn’t know it already, Zion Williamson is exactly that kind of player. Sure, he may not stand at an astounding 7’1”, but rather, has a height of just 6’5”. However, the man is unquestionably a bully when healthy on the basketball court.
That said, Zion isn’t the only good thing New Orleans has going for it. No, the franchise has a very, very good supporting cast to the star. And one of the biggest names of the said case is Jose Alvarado.
The defensive guard is one of the most underrated at what he does in the NBA. And apparently, Shaquille O’Neal feels the same way about him.
How do we know that? Well, let’s get right to it.
Jose Alvarado gets a major shoutout from Shaquille O’Neal
Shaquille O’Neal has admitted that he doesn’t know the name of players that aren’t in the top 20 players in the NBA. However, as with everything on the planet, there do exist a few exceptions here. And as it appears, Jose Alvarado is clearly one of them.
Recently an account on Instagram published some context of Alvarado in action. And after coming across it, apparently, Shaquille O’Neal couldn’t help but share it on his Instagram story. Take a look below.

Ah yes. It appears that Shaquille O’Neal is a man of some Grand Theft Alvarado himself. A man of culture indeed. And given how well the player has performed when healthy, we don’t think that is going to change anytime soon.
Jose Alvarado once even appeared alongside Shaquille O’Neal, on Inside the NBA
Jose Alvarado has been a full-time NBA player for some time now. And of course, as it’s well-known, the schedule of one such individual can be beyond busy. However, Alvarado once decided to free some time up to get on the show. And well, here is how it all went down.
Kenny Smith may have had a very successful tenure in the NBA years ago, but it appears that age has taken it’s toll on the man. He better start taking better care of the rock, otherwise, he won’t see many passes coming to him as time goes on. Father time truly is cruel.
