“I Want Kick to Succeed”- HasanAbi Opens Up About Recent Criticism
After signing some of the world’s most prominent streamers, Kick is making headlines with its multi-million-dollar contracts. This has eventually led many fans to believe that a few Twitch streamers are criticizing Kick for not getting a partnership deal. The famous Twitch star Hasan Piker, a.k.a. HasanAbi, is also one of those talked-out streamers who recently opened up about this criticism.
It all started when HasanAbi boldly claimed xQc’s intention behind joining Kick was to incorporate gambling into his streams. For those unaware, xQc signed a 2-year non-exclusive deal worth a whopping 100 million dollars with Kick. Also, this newly launched streaming platform is backed and funded by its co-owner, Stake, a gambling website.
Unfortunately, HasanAbi’s views on xQc backfired when fans accused Hasan of being jealous and criticizing Kick. Therefore, in one of his latest streams, the Twitch streamer stated things aren’t as they appear to be, expressing his support for Kick. Let’s check what Hasan said about it.
HasanAbi clears up the fog with a positive take on Kick
At 3:16:23 seconds timestamp, Hasan Piker stated that Kick is very much aware that all big streamers are valuable assets to them regardless of the platform. Hence, the TrainwrecksTV-backed platform won’t have any obligation to offer contracts to any renowned streamer.
He said, “As big streamers as our peers, they know that you know, if you are fuc*ing big streamer, you are a valuable asset, regardless. Like Kick would absolutely have no issue giving anyone and everyone a fuc*ing contract like that.”
Further, he stated there’s no such thing as Twitch streamers being jealous of Kick as it’s all people’s assumptions and projections. Additionally, he added that he doesn’t want Kick to fail, as the platform’s success will ultimately lead to the streamers’ success.
Hasan explained it, “I think it’s projection to say like ohh it’s cause they are jealous and they want they can’t get one, and that’s why they are fu*king shit*ing on Kick when I don’t. I don’t want Kick to fail; I want Kick to succeed. As a matter of fact, if Kick succeeds, we all succeed.”
Undoubtedly, it’s a massive revelation by HasanAbi, which will most likely make things a lot less complicated. The streamer has nothing against Kick, as he wants the platform to thrive. The streamer’s remarks could also leave the community split. It would be interesting to witness how fans react to Hasan’s statement.
