Peyton Manning and Eli Manning host the Manningcast, and sometimes they like to get into it with each other, as Bengals QB Joe Burrow once found out. The quarterbacks were discussing Mac Jones batting a ball down after a tipped pass, and Peyton Manning just had to find a way to bring his brother into it. Eli Manning once was faced with the same situation, but he reacted very differently, ending in a completely different result, leading to Peyton roasting him.

The Manningcast is one of the most unique broadcasts across sports. The Manning brothers still provide commentary throughout NFL games just like any other broadcast, but it’s interlaced with anecdotes, memories, hilarious jokes, and of course, some good old-fashioned sibling rivalry. The Manningcast also calls in guests, former players, celebrities, or other athletes, and sometimes they end up in the crossfire of the sibling rivalry.

Peyton Manning and Eli Manning Get Joe Burrow In Their Antics

During the Patriots-Cardinals game, the Manningcast brought on Joe Burrow as a guest. Burrow is one of the best quarterbacks in the game right now, and sitting in with two legendary quarterbacks must’ve felt great.

Burrow also got to witness the Manning brother rivalry in full form. He had front-row seats to it all, and it didn’t disappoint. As stated earlier, the brothers were commenting on Mac Jones batting down a tipped ball, when Peyton decided to tease Eli.

He claimed that Mac Jones made the correct decision to bat the ball down instead of being a hero. He then brought up how Eli Manning once tried to catch the ball after it was tipped with one hand, only to stumble, and fumble the ball.

Eli claimed that it wasn’t a fumble but Peyton Manning wasn’t having any of it. “Joe believe it or not,” Peyton said dead serious. “Eli, he’s so slow, they actually called that a football move that he took.”

All Joe Burrow could do was laugh as the Manning brothers went after it. He was truly placed in the middle of the sibling rivalry, and from the looks of it, he enjoyed it.

Peyton and Eli Are Fully Committed to the Manningcast, Have Hilarious Criteria For Guests

Eli and Peyton have created a truly special experience for fans and guests who interact with the Manningcast. Their goal was always to make it feel like you were watching a game with the Manning brothers from the comfort of your home, and that’s what they’ve done.

“We’ve stayed pretty true to what the original plan was,” Eli Manning reported on the Pat McAfee Show. “We wanted to make it feel like what it’s like to sit on the couch with Peyton and I and watch a football game. That’s still the idea. We’re gonna talk some Xs and Os, we’re gonna make fun of each other, and every now and then, Pat McAfee pops in in the living room and we start talking with him or we’re talking with Snoop Dogg.”

Peyton also made sure to tell future guests the criteria they must meet to be featured on the Manningcast.

“The criteria for being a guest is you gotta love football,” Peyton Manning said to Bloomberg. “You can’t come on to promote your tequila.”
