" I think we could see BazBall in fast forward": Stuart Broad believes England will play with more aggressive intent in 2nd innings of ENG vs PAK Multan test

Pakistan and England are playing the 2nd test of the 3-match series in Multan, where the English team has taken a solid lead in the first innings on a very difficult track. Looking at the situation, Stuart Broad believes that the English side will play with more aggressive intent in the 2nd innings.

The pitch in Multan is spin-friendly, and it is very difficult to play at this very ground. England scored 281 runs in the first innings, which was a competitive total, and they managed to stop Pakistan for just 202 runs, taking a valuable lead of 79 runs in the first innings.

At one stage, Pakistan were 142-2, but they lost their last 8 wickets for just 50 runs. Jack Leach took 4 wickets for England, whereas Mark Wood and Joe Root took a couple each. It will be interesting to see the approach of England in the 2nd innings.

Stuart Broad believes England will play with more aggressive intent in 2nd innings

English pacer Stuart Broad believes that the English team will play with a more aggressive approach in the 2nd innings after getting a lead in the 1st innings. He said that the spectators can see the ‘Bazball’ in fast-forward mode.

“With a big lead on this pitch, I think we could see BazBall in fast forward in England’s batting innings if that’s even possible,” Stuart Broad tweeted.

This pitch has been very difficult for the batters from the very first day, and the aggressive intent of the England players allowed them to score runs. In just 51.4 overs, they scored 281 runs in the 1st innings. This approach of the English team was evident in the 1st test as well where they produced a result out of nowhere.

Talking about Stuart Broad, he is missing the ongoing Pakistan tour due to personal reasons. He and his partner welcomed their first child in November, which clashed with the dates of the Pakistan tour. Broad is the 5th highest wicket-taker in the history of test cricket with 566 wickets at an average of 27.77.
