CRL West Fall Season 2020: The Fall season begins for a prize pool worth a whopping 225,000$. Who will be crowned the best in the west?
It’s that time of the year again when your fav. players and the best at the game will fight it out for ultimate supremacy.
CRL West Fall Season: The Teams.
There will be a total of 10 teams competing for the title this season.
- Spacestation Gaming.
- Chivas Esports.
- Pain Gaming.
- SK Gaming.
- Team Queso.
- Team Liquid.
- Cream Real Betis.
- Misfits Gaming.
Of these defending champions, Spacestation and runners up misfits will be the favourites ones more. The addition of Bob the Rock and Schwarzen to Misfits make them an even stronger squad. Team Queso will also be a team to watch out for with both of their best players making it to Bren Chong Cup finals this year. Team Liquid and SK Gaming are the two most decorated teams in the league. So, they are always in the running for a title as well. However, don’t look away from the other teams either. As an unsung Misfits team proved last season, surprises are always around the corner.
The Fall Season starts on the 19th of September at 5 PM GMT and will stream live on the game’s official Esports channel on YouTube. It will air in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Italian.
Unlike the Spring Season, teams will not be split into two groups of five. Instead, they will face each other in a round-robin format with the top 6 moving into the playoffs. This is led to more exciting matchups than last season.
The playoffs will be played in a single-elimination bracket format. So, the top 2 teams will reach the Semi-Finals while the next 4 face each other in the quarters. Then, there’ll be 2 semifinals between the winners of the quarter-finals and the top 2 teams. Finally, a final will crown the CRL West Fall Season 2020 champion.
