The Windswept Wanderlust mission is the last mission of the 1.0 update. After completing it, players will be able to get a lot of rewards that will help players get their hands on a lot of rewards. The first three missions have been updated. Players can check them out and then come back to complete the fourth mission. This Honkai Star Rail guide will help you complete the mission.
In the run-up to this mission, players have to complete skill mastery and add some characters to the party. Since dealing with enemies gets increasingly difficult, players must also upgrade their Trailblazer level.
Windswept Wanderlust mission is the fourth mission and consists of an array of subquests. To start this mission, players have to reach at least Level 29 to start it. This simply further displays that players have to do a lot of upgrading and development before they start this quest.

Honkai Star Rail Guide: How to complete the Windswept Wanderlust mission
Players have to complete thirteen subquests to complete the whole mission. Interestingly, some of these missions will be played from other characters’ perspectives and not just the Trailblazer’s.
An Invitation Without Proffer
Note: Players need to reach a certain level to take part in the mission
This subquest marks the beginning of the mission. Players have to participate in the Warp navigation meeting, which will inform the team about their upcoming destination. While that is happening, Kafka interrupts the meeting and reminds them of Xianzhou Luofo.
After the conversation with Kafka is finished, players will get the following rewards:

Honkai Star Rail Guide: Amidst the Mara-Struck
In this mission, the Astral Express follows the guidance of the Stellaron Hunter. Trailblazer, March 7th, and Welt figure out that Stellaron Hunter’s presence is already impacting the realm and the journey begins.
On the journey, they meet Mara-Struck enemies who can revive themselves using the Rejuvenate Health talent. They also come across the Hexanexus puzzle, a giant compass puzzle, and a Level 45 enemy known as the Stagnant Shadow. After defeating the enemy using Ice, Wind, and Imaginary attacks, they will meet Tingyun in a cut scene around Starskiff Haven.
After finishing it, players will get the following rewards:

Devising Stratagems
The conversation with Tingyun gives all the information regarding the amenities at the Petrichor Inn and guides players toward the new destination, Stargazer Navalia. Trailblazer discusses the Inn with March 7th and Welt.
At this point, the story makes a shift in perspective and is continued with Dan Heng’s point of view. A vast cut scene starts, and Trailblazer gets to know Dan has not been replying to any of the messages sent to him. No rewards are given for completing this subquest and players move to the next quest.
Scattered Memories of the Hooded Past
The change in perspective continues in this subquest, which is a continuation of Devising Stratagems. Dan is set to embark on his journey to reunite with the team and is faced with several enemies on the way, which have to be fought. Players have to battle two waves of Mara-Struck soldiers with the help of Dan Heng and Sushang.
Once this battle is finished, players will be given the following rewards:

The Hound Chases the Fox
This is a relatively small quest where players have to talk to Tingyun in order to meet Diting, a bionic dog who will help the team figure out Kafka’s location. Tingyun will be found last where the players met her: next to Starskiff. Players have to get on the Starskiff and Stargazer Navalia and begin the journey to find Kafka.
After completing this small quest, players will be rewarded with:

Honkai Star Rail Guide: Stars Spun, Prescience Sprung
Players have to begin this quest by searching around three areas that have clues related to Kafka. These will help Diting locate Kafka using her scent. The first clue is found near the Space Anchor. The second one is close to the left spacious area that is located beneath the vase and the final one is received after players have defeated a Level 51 Formidable Foe and destroyed a vase.
After Diting has done his job, players have to follow the quest marker, and Kafka will appear. After a small cur scene, players will engage in a battle against the three Cloud Knights. These Knights can be defeated with the help of characters that have Fire, Wind, and Imaginary powers.
After the Knights are defeated, players go against Kafka in the battle. While she is vulnerable to a lot of abilities like Physical, Wind, and Imaginary, she also holds the power to turn characters against each other. She will force them to attack one another but players have to resist them. Players will have to fight her and the two Cloud Knights that accompany her.
After the battle finishes, players are introduced to Fu Xuan. He has the gift of foresightedness. After this cut scene ends, players will regain their control over their character. After the cut scene, players have a group conversation about the recent events, and players continue their journey after entering the sanctum. Furthermore, players will defeat Mara-struck soldiers and come across Bailu. The subquest will end after players have met Songyan and Guangda.

Venom Brews, Immortality Looms
Note: Players need to reach a certain level to take part in the mission
In this next subquest, the Realm Keeping Commission will give you your next task, which is finding your way into the Sanctus Medicus. Here, players will have to take the necessary steps to expose the illegal medicine. To expose the medicine, players have to complete a few puzzles and move ahead in the storyline. Keep in mind that players will have to reach Level 34 to progress.

New Friends Bring New Joy
Before the quest starts, players have to reach Level 34. The quest will begin when players will meet Qingque. She is going to accompany the players and is going to guide them to the Divination Commission. While players are on the journey, players will gather a lot of knowledge about the Ambrosial Arbor.
Players will be rewarded with the following things:

Omniscient Inquiry of Arcana
As the players move ahead, they find out that Kafka has not been very responsive in the interrogation and come up with a plan to get the most information out of her with the help of the Matrix of Presence.
Players will have to complete the Abacus Circuitry puzzle, which will unlock the path to the interrogation area. On the way, they will come across Cycrane and players will have to fight it before moving ahead.
Players then have to go to Fu Xuan and a cut scene will start leading players to the Matrix of Prescience. After this, players will then see another puzzle named Mutare Magnus, which needs to be solved.
Players will have to reboot the first terminal, then enter the doors next to it to complete the circuit and restart the other two terminals. One of the two terminals is protected by a Level 44 Aurumaton and has to be defeated. Players will then see a cut scene with Fu Xuan and then this subquest will finish.

Wood Sprouts Anew, Fate Tilts Askew
Players can ask Kafka all the questions they wanted to ask through the previous missions. They will then realize that she has managed to escape with Blade, as she revives the Ambrosial Arbor.
Once Kafka is gone, the cut scene will take players to a conversation with Loucha, who will officially make his way into the game with the 1.1 update. After listening to him, the missions resume normally.
There are no rewards related to this subquest.
Tranquil Amidst Turmoil
Players will complete this subquest as Dan Heng. He makes his way around the Artisanship Commission with Sushang and Luocha. At the same time, he is also showing around Xueyi. Players will have to fight Mara-struck enemies and also have to complete the Navigation Compass puzzles.
After completion of the missions, players will be given the following rewards:

Humming Antlers, Entwined Horns
Players have to go to the Artisan Commission and help the people impacted by the occurrence of the Ambrosial Arbor.
While exploring the area, players will come across the Abundant Ebon Deer and have to be defeated. Players will have to use the characters that have Fire, Ice, and Quantum elements. Players have to be careful about the Twigs that the Ebon Deer can summon.
The Twig of Wintry Wind plays one ability known as the Outrage status. This ability will turn the team against each other. The other ability is the Twig of Marple Leaf, which makes the enemy act against the assailants. Players will have to complete three root puzzles and then face the Abundant Ebon Deer again,
It is to be noted that this battle with the Deers will be fought in more than one phase. Players will have to keep a check on the health of their characters. If any of them is unavailable for the second fight, there is a chance that the Trailblazer’s team would lose the fight and will have to start all over again.
Players will have to fight this battle extremely carefully. The first strategy should be dealing with the deer that cannot heal themselves. Once he is dealt with, players will have to face more deer, and finishing them becomes important. Players should then be careful about their attacks– Twig of Lavish Fruits gives deer extra energy. Twig of Glorious Blooms restores the health of the enemies that are helping the Ebon Deer.

Sinners Mislead, Credence Falsified
This is the last phase of the Windswept Wanderlust mission. Players will be contacted by Dan Shu, who wants to meet them. After the players engage with her, they get to know that she is a spy who is working for Sanctus Medicus. Players will see that the mission she was in charge of took place because they wanted to retaliate against the Realm Keeping Commission.
As the players proceed ahead, they will come face to face with the two kinds of enemies. They will have to fight and win against Mara-struck and Entranced, both. After players have won this fight, the whole mission will be completed.
