“I’d make more in my first boxing match than my next three UFC fights” – Jon Jones responds to Dana White’s interview
“I’d make more in my first boxing match than my next three UFC fights” – Jon Jones responds to Dana White’s interview on ESPN 9 post-fight news conference.
The bad blood between Dana White and Jon Jones shows no signs of slowing down. Jones, who has used Twitter to share his side of the story, took to the social media platform once again after Dana White’s interview on ESPN 9 post-fight news conference.

“The reporter asked Dana to show the text messages instead he gives a 55 second response talking about why would I lie,” said Jones of the interview.

“At no point did I ever demand anything from you Dana. I simply asked for a super fight and asked to be compensated for it.
“You are the one who started talking negotiations publicly and showing the world how much you’ve been withholding from your athletes this whole time

“I’d make more in my first boxing match than my next three UFC fights” – Jon Jones
Jones had previously dared Dana White to release him from his contract. He asked the same from the UFC president on Sunday once again.
“You’re talking all that big guy stuff about not caring. Put your money where your mouth is and release me from that contract.

White had reasoned in his interview that Jones’ actions outside the octagon was the reason he never achieved the greatness he could have. However, the 205-pound champion wasn’t having any of it. He claimed that there was no need to put up with his lies. Jones also added that he could have 3 times more than his current UFC earnings in just one match inside the boxing ring.
“I’d probably make more in my first boxing match than my next three UFC fights combined. There’s real estate, acting, just kicking it and being a dad. No one needs to put up with Dana‘s lies.”

It’s hard to see where the two go from here. Despite their very public falling out, it is unlikely that the UFC will let go of him. It is also hard to imagine Jones wanting to remain with the promotion after everything that has gone down in the past few days.
