Klay Thompson hits out at Warriors fans after defeat to Suns, Kevin Durant left furious
The Warriors succumbed to a humiliating defeat at the Oracle Arena to Phoenix Suns last night.
Kevin Durant suffered an ankle injury in the 4th quarter, as he attempted a pass and landed on DeAndre Ayton’s foot, thereby twisting his ankle.
He rushed to the locker room, but did so on his own, walking fairly pain free.
However, in is absence, the Warriors couldn’t quite put up a good enough show, losing out to the bottom placed Suns 115-111.
The Warriors find themselves in a tricky phase ahead of the playoff season, as they are yet to hit top gear and could be in line for some tricky fixtures early on in the playoff season.
Klay Thompson has called out the Warriors fans for not cranking up the volume during crucial phases of the game last night. Klay felt that the crowd did not urge the players on enough and has demanded more from them, especially as this is the Warriors’ final season at the Oracle Arena.
“And I expect our crowd to be a little more into it too. I know it’s not the playoffs but it is our last go-around at Oracle.” Klay Thompson exclaimed.

Kevin Durant, who left the game a little early, too has voiced his frustration over the loss, according to a report from Sam Hustis.
Sam Hustis was walking to the press room a little early when he encountered Kevin Durant going to the locker room.
KD was visibily frustrated and mouthed off, “Stupid as motherf—ing game we playing. We need to be playing championship level basketball.”
Went down to the press room early and happened to pass KD as he went to the locker room, was yelling as he walked by.

Good to know that somebody in that locker room is pissed. Whatever meaning beating Denver established Friday night was completely washed away with losing this game; drudge back where they started from before Friday.

Warriors are not new to controversy this season, having already dealt with the Draymond-KD fallout early on in the season.
The duo have since then reconciled, but KD’s impending free agency could cause a few locker room issues if losses start creeping into the system.
Steve Kerr will need to handle his troops carefully as they go into the business end of the season.
He will have to ensure that his team is the right kind of mindset, because things could go really south if the team camaraderie takes a hit during this crucial time.
Do you think the Warriors can get a three peat this season or will they falter in the playoffs this time round?
Interesting times ahead.
