His fitness and spirit were appreciated by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on the record. Goodell, via an Instagram post made by the NFL, said,
“Hey coach, I got a video earlier today from one of our practices that has me very concerned. I keep hearing about the abuse that you are putting on your defensive secondary. Shredding them every day with your passes and running. You’re amazing. I can’t believe it. Take it easy on the guys, they got a long season.”

Pete Carroll has proved his fitness and suitability for the job, especially at 72 years of age. Carroll took the liberty of addressing the magical secret behind his activeness and health via The Seattle Times. He says that this is who he has always been, quoting,
“I’m trying to have fun, to tell you the truth,” Carroll said. “I’m trying to have fun out here and part of that’s being able to be available for it. You gotta work and, you know, stay in shape to do the things you want to do.”
He is the oldest active head coach in the NFL, and turned 72 on Sept. 15. He trumps Bill Belichick from the Patriots in age by a gap of 213 days. Additionally, the coach feels that he thinks of the sport as playing catch and wants to keep the kid alive who enjoys it.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is on the verge of signing a three-year contract extension to remain at the NFL helm up to 2027. The move was reported via the Washington Post, which mentioned that there is no reason for a change. Consequently, the Bleacher Report writes that the team owners are experiencing financial gains more than ever, with heavy profits.
The sale of the Denver Broncos in 2022 alone yielded close to $4.7 billion. Moreover, the Washington Commnders’ sale was made at a staggering $6 billion setting new records. At 64 years of age, Goodell’s tenure has yielded a variety of accomplishments for the league. It has not only improved its global presence but is in the line of being approved as an Olympic Sport.
