Travis Kelce and Jason Pitches Roger Goodell a Fantastic Idea to Make the NFL Arena More Dramatic

It is a custom that the team that wins the Super Bowl gets a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit the White House in order to be honored for their efforts. The Kansas City Chiefs players are gearing up to meet the President after lifting the Lombardi Trophy last season. Travis Kelce, one of the prominent players on the team, showed his excitement and even planned something for the White House that resembled the time when he threw the fake Lombardi trophy at the Kelce Jam music event.

The Chiefs TE, who knows how to have a great time, talked in detail about the immensely-awaited trip with his brother on the hit podcast ‘New Heights’. Even though Jason would have loved to get invited, he was happy to just chat about his brother’s trip until Travis proposed the ridiculous idea of going all ‘Nick Cage’ inside the White House.

Travis Kelce may cause mayhem in the White House

Everyone knows how much Travis loves Nick Cage starrer National Treasure. He, in fact, did a similar sketch on SNL when he hosted the show a few months ago. As it turns out, the star player recently confessed his desire to find treasure in the White House like Cage’s character did in the movie.

The character looks for clues and searches for antique items in the most ridiculous of places. One scene involves Cage going through the Declaration of Independence to get his hands on to something useful. Inspired by the scene, Travis has made a plan to execute something similar. He told Jason that he is excited to see “the hidden office”.

Travis said,”I wanna see the… desk.” Jason hilariously replied, “Trav, please, while you’re at the White House, please do not National Treasure the White House. Please do not go…” Then the Chiefs TE announced, “I’m gonna get f*****g shot.”

Travis even revealed that he was thinking about experimenting if he’d be let inside the White House with a fake ID, as one of the requirements for the players is to have their real identity cards while making an entrance in the high security area. Jason pointed out that the plan wouldn’t work because now everyone knows about it.

Kelce took shots at the Raiders while talking about his upcoming Golf match

Kelce and Patrick Mahomes will team up to play a gold match against Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry on this year’s rendition of The Match. The event will take place at the Wynn Las Vegas course on June 29. When he appeared on a call on FanDuel TV, the TE proudly said that he and the Kansas City Chiefs have never lost a game in Las Vegas. He said, “well I mean, me and my guy Pat Mahomes have never lost in Vegas, and that even dates back to a golf tournament.

Along with being right about defeating the Raiders, he also appeared confident when speaking about his most-awaited Golf match with the NBA stars.

I tell you what, Pat’s gonna have to save me on a few shots, but I’m interested to see what the dynamic is. I usually get a little competitive, start talking smack and everything like that, and I don’t know if the baby face assassin and Klay Thompson like to yap a little bit… Well, I think Klay gets after it a little bit. But we’ll find out”, Kelce noted.

It will be interesting to see how the ‘The Match’ as well as the White House visit turns out for terrific Travis.
