“Man of God” Russell Wilson Draws Love From NFL World For His Polite On-Flight Gesture
The legacy of Russell Wilson in the NFL world is undiminished. Despite attracting severe backlash and criticism last year, the quarterback kept his cool and believed in his abilities. His attitude towards people never changed, and that made him a beloved entity off the gridiron. Recently, a co-passenger of Wilson shared his experience on social media, when he met the quarterback on a flight back home.
The Broncos quarterback is a believer of God and likes to live his life religiously. He often shares biblical quotes on his Twitter handle which say that one must have faith in the almighty. Indeed, the context perfectly suits his current situation because the quarterback is in need of a revival.
Russell Wilson draws high praise from a fellow co-passenger
Being humble and infectious is quite important for succeeding in life. Wilson understands this notion pretty well tries to maintain decorum every time he meets somebody. A football fan named Chris recently met the former Super Bowl champion on a flight and after becoming a fanboy of the superstar, he couldn’t resist himself from sharing his fantastic experience on Twitter.
Throughout the journey, Wilson remained gracious and gracefully interacted with Chris. “Russell Wilson Has to be the coolest athlete ever man. Was on my flight from NYC and was super cool with passengers. Good guy man. Go kill it this year Russ! #BroncosCountry” Chris wrote on his Twitter handle.

It took no time for Chris’ comments to spread like wildfire across the internet. Wilson, who caught wind of the appreciation Tweet, thanked him back and vowed to make it count this year. “Good safe flight! Thanks, Chris! Let’s make this year a special year!” he wrote.
Glad you’re safe Russ, & hope the Broncos rock the world this year.

Indeed, the 2022 campaign turned out to be the worst nightmare of Wilson’s career after he failed to meet expectations. The quarterback got sacked 55 times in a single season. He struggled to move out of the pocket or sling the ball accurately. His precision throws were nowhere to be seen, and interceptions became an added concern to his overall performance.
Can Wilson make a comeback in 2023?
This season, expectations will be quite less from the Wisconsin product, unlike last year’s burden that contributed to his slump. Moreover, the Broncos have hired legendary head coach Sean Payton, who has already begun a major revamp inside the Denver locker room.
Wilson will have extra motivation to perform because of the criticism he received in 2022. Frankly, he has no other options because if he fails in 2023, his brand value will end up taking a serious hit. What do you think? Will we see the old Wilson in 2023?
