The Jets signed a well-above-average tackle who should contribute to the young Jets offense. Here’s a look at his contract details.
Morgan Moses contract
Morgan Moses signed a 1 year contract with a base salary of $3.6 million. However, he can make up to $5.3 million with incentives.

He was actually offered a 2 year deal by the Jets but declined it for “future flexibility” as per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
How will he contribute to the Jets offense?
With the new signing, Moses is expected to be the starter and should be replacing George Fant. PFF gave him a solid grade of 80.6 grade last season, where he particularly excelled in the run game.
Run blocking
The 30-year-old tackle displayed various examples of power in the running game last season with the Washington Football Team. For example, here are a couple of instances where he was dominated-

In addition to this, Moses will definitely play a big role in order to keep the running game going which should take some pressure off from rookie Zach Wilson.
Pass blocking
His pass protection isn’t the best in the game however. He allowed 5 sacks last season but will look to improve this year.
If Moses isn’t living up to expectations, the Jets can always turn to George Fant who started at tackle last season.
