After their team scored a touchdown, the Bills Mafia began to rain snowballs, but they were also hurling some at Dolphins defenders and the Miami sideline.
Following their team’s first touchdown, Buffalo Bills supporters at first began tossing snow into the air. It was enjoyable. However, things went awry when the Miami Dolphins players were being targeted by snowballers in the crowd.
Officials then faced a problem. Tyreek Hill attempted to catch a pass in the end zone during a play close to the goal line as snowballs began to fall during the play. One snowball struck a nearby TV camera.
Officials postponed the game after Bills running back Nyheim Hines scored a touchdown and more snowballs were thrown on the field in celebration. Referee Bill Vinovich warned that if spectators continued to hurl snowballs onto the field, the Bills could receive a 15-yard penalty.
Superman Josh Allen leads the Bills past Dolphins
Improving his MVP winning chances, Allen blew the Miami Dolphins by completing 25 of 40 passes for 304 yards and four touchdowns in addition to gaining 77 rushing yards on 10 attempts.
In the fourth quarter, with the Bills down 29-21, Allen tied the score with a 5-yard touchdown pass to Dawson Knox on third-and-goal. He then successfully added the extra point with a superhuman leap over the goal line. Allen was initially judged to have been short of the plane, but after a replay review, it was determined that he had entered the end zone before giving up the ball.
Josh Allen struck form and the Bills earned a well-deserved victory. However, things might have gone south if the snowballs wouldn’t have stopped interrupting the game.
