Tom Brady was the most valuable free agent in the market last offseason, but it looks like there was one team that definitively chose to pass on the GOAT.

LeBron James’ “The Shop” is set to return on HBO this Friday, and the trailer for the new episodes revealed Brady talking about one potential NFL team that wasn’t too receptive towards him joining.

Let the drama begin. Who could Brady be talking about? We know there were several teams on his radar that he was definitely interested in signing with. This included the Chicago Bears, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the San Francisco 49ers.

Out of these teams, we can obviously eliminate the Bucs, but then who would’ve passed on Brady out of the remaining four teams? Or, was it some entirely different team altogether.

This teaser singlehandedly sent the NFL world into a frenzy as they tried to guess who Brady was talking about. Social media was buzzing with reactions to the trailer.

NFL Twitter is buzzing right now. Which team would have thought that their quarterback was more equipped to lead their team. Obviously, it wasn’t a franchise with an already established quarterback because Brady wouldn’t even be looking there in the first place.

That means that some team had more faith in their current quarterback than Brady despite him not even being a legitimate superstar. Tom Brady’s surprised reaction is perfectly justified.

In his first year with Tampa Bay, Brady won a seventh Super Bowl ring. As far as success with a new team can go, that accomplishment pretty much tops the list. What more can you ask for?

Not all NFL teams must’ve seen what Tampa Bay did in Brady. NFL Fans had fun trying to guess who this team was on Twitter. One team came up more than once: The San Francisco 49ers.

49ers fans must be feeling livid right now. However, there were several other teams that were mentioned too. For example:

Will Brady actually reveal which team it was? Probably not. We’ll have to wait till Friday to confirm this, but wow does it make things interesting. Whichever team it was, they have to be kicking themselves.
