Tom Brady is all about football. He sleeps, eats, and dreams about the game. But when it comes to his three kids, Jack, Benjamin and Vivian, things are a bit different. They are the real music bugs, who love singing and playing the piano. In a recent interaction with PEOPLE, Brady spoke at length about his kids showing inclination towards the world of music.

Jack, 15, is probably the only child in the Brady household who follows in the footsteps of his father, exploring the game of football. He plays quarterback in high school and often accompanies Tom for practice sessions. Benjamin and Vivian are poles apart in this aspect. They love spending time playing instruments and exercising their vocal cords.

The 45-year-old NFL superstar, who is set to feature in a series of advertisement campaigns to promote Hertz, recently had an interaction with PEOPLE, where he revealed how how happy he is after finally getting some quality time with his kids post retirement. He emphasized on how much all three of the young guns love signing and playing different instruments.
“Although I would definitely say I’m not musically inclined at all, my kids are, which I love,” Brady said. “I love all the different arts for sure, I’m just not great at many of them,” he added.
“It’s interesting, my son plays by ear too. He doesn’t like looking at notes, so he hears something and tries to play it,” Brady added, showering more praise on his talented kids. A couple of months back, TB12 had even shared glimpses of his son Benjamin’s piano playing talent on Instagram.
Tom also went on to admit that after seeing the things his children are trying to do, he is getting to know more about himself. “Seeing them exposed to these things(singing and playing piano) makes me enjoy it more,” he further added.
Brady initially had a hard time adjusting with his kids’ choices
Being one of the greatest athletes of all time, the veteran expected his children to live in a certain way, to probably follow his path of greatness. But Benjamin and Vivian showcased their interests in things other than football. Brady once mentioned that he was not ready to accept it. His ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, played a role in making him realize that the world doesn’t work like that.
“I was like, ‘C’mon, let’s do this.’ And he was like, ‘Nope.’ And I was like, ‘What? No, do this!’ And Gisele kept saying to me, ‘Would you effing understand that your son is different?” Brady claimed.
It will be interesting to see how things turn out in the coming years for Tom and his family.
