Rey Mysterio looking to return to the WWE
Rey Mysterio is one of the superstars that the fans would love to make a return back in the near future.
The 2006 Royal Rumble winner was recently interviewed by ESPN where he expressed his desire to be a part of WWE, He said:
“I would definitely love to go back and finish up. Whether it’s one year or whatever the case might be. Whether it’s a farewell. I owe a lot to that company. That company gave me such an amazing opportunity, and I took advantage of every single moment I was with WWE to the fullest.

I wouldn’t want to just be remembered as ‘Oh, man, he never re-signed and he never came back.’ I would definitely love to come back and do a last run and say goodbye to my WWE fans. Tell them goodbye in a proper way.”
The 43-year-old is one of the hottest free agents in the business right now. The former WWE Champion spoke about his 2 years away from the company, where he mentioned that he utilised the time to heal off from niggles and is now “better than ever”.
Mysterio was asked about a possible appearance at the upcoming Royal Rumble to which he cheekily replied, “never say never”.
Mysterio’s last run with the company ended in a lacklustre fashion in 2015, and he would love to make amends for that.
