Kai Carlo Cenat III is one of the most followed Twitch streamers with 6.5 million followers and counting. He is also a YouTube content creator and has more than 4 million subscribers. Following his riot detainment, Kai Cenat stated in his latest live stream that his first court hearing is on August 16, 2023.
Kai started an unorganized fans meet and greet and PS5 giveaway at Union Square, NYC. But unfortunately, the event took a huge turn. A huge number of people gathered around and later started rioting. NYPD had to intervene in the fan’s giveaway. Thereafter Kai was arrested along with a few other people.

No proper security arrangements were done before the event. So the situation got out of hand when a couple of thousand fans came by. The NYPD had to interfere when people started to harass each other and caused harm to public property. Kai Cenat was immediately detained for inducing riot and is now facing an unexpected legal battle.
Kai wanted to give an update on what was currently happening. He says that his fans already knew what his situation was and that he was being hit by multiple charges. He informs his fans that he might be not able to stream for a little time because he had court dates to appear. Saying that he announces that his first court date was on August 16, 2023.
Kai Cenat tells that he has to deal with a lot of things at the moment. He tells he has to face a lot of charges, court dates, and a lot more hereafter. He also says that he will be away from streaming only for a little while and stressed in words that it will not take that long.
According to Kai Cenat, there was nothing to worry about in this situation. He states that he will be handling everything he needs to handle. He asks his fans to stay positive, have high hopes and just pray a lot that that everything goes by in a good way.
Lastly, he finishes off by saying that he loves his fans so much. He says that his fans are just amazing and asks them to stay very safe. Kai Cenat again adds that he will be back very soon to do his usual things.
