UFC 256: Amanda Nunes Vs. Megan Anderson
The Lioness last fought Felicia Spencer in June at UFC 250, where the champ emerged victorious via unanimous decision. It was her record 7th consecutive defense. Amanda Nunes is 20-4, and in the process she has defeated many established women in the ring, to reach the stature of perhaps the greatest of all time. Nunes’ latest achievement is being adjudged as Rank 1 in the ever coveted EA SPORTS UFC 4.
At UFC 256, Nunes will face Megan Anderson, who in her last bout took home the performance of the night award. According to sources, this will be Anderson’s last fight of her UFC contract.
So, this will be a much anticipated fight, one which will determine the fate of Women’s 145 division.
If Nunes wins, there will be no one left for her to fight at 145. They can just move on.
If Anderson pulls off the upset, things change dramatically and they can do the rematch etc.
