Dana White Gives Strange Answer When Asked About Yair Rodriguez at the post-fight presser of UFC Vegas 15

Yair Rodriguez’s future in UFC is apparently obscure as Dana White gave a strange answer when asked about him at UFC Vegas 15 presser.

Yair Rodriguez, who was booked to face Zabit Magomedsharipov at UFC Vegas 8, but was forced to pull-out in the run-up on account of an ankle injury, is apparently a subject of a grave concern.

Rodriguez, though is quite active on social media and posts content related to the continues action, however, when it comes to his own future in-ring action, there are question marks that have emerged after Dana White’s peculiar reaction, which emanated after a reporter asked about the Mexican.

Dana White Gives Strange Answer When Asked About Yair Rodriguez

Yair Rodriguez holds the No.4th rank in the Featherweight division and in August was on the brink of earning the No.1 contenders spot. But now it seems he is far from competing, let alone getting a title shot.

At the post-event presser of UFC Vegas 15, Dana White was asked, when Yair Rodriguez will fight again. To which White did not gave a clear answer but also did not put forth a textbook reply i.e., “I don’t know.” Rather he simply said “I don’t think he’s going to fight soon.” White gave this answer after seemingly asking an official “Haven’t we talked publicly about that?”

White’s initial reaction to the question gave a major heads up that a big reveal is coming. However, the UFC boss did not offered clarity but did said a straight up “No”, when asked if he was hurt. White concluded the session by opening further doors for speculations. He said, Yair Rodriguez’s absence is not under UFC’s purview.
