Dana White is soon going to hold a meeting with Khabib Nurmagomedov. So, when are they going to meet and what are they going to discuss?

Ever since Khabib Nurmagomedov hung up his gloves at UFC 254, the speculating bodies are waiting for the confirmation that he is indeed retired. While he himself has conveyed a number of times that he is done and not going to return, yet what is keeping the hopes high held for his return is the shared opinion of his long time manager Ali Abdelaziz and UFC president Dana White.

In the wake of Khabib being obstinate about not wanting to come back, and expressing that there is no motivation left for him to compete again in the Octagon, Dana White has come forward and has taken a step to persuade him to return.

When is the meeting between Dana White and Khabib Nurmagomedov?

Evidently, the UFC boss and Nurmagomedov are set to meet privately at Fight Island this month to discuss the future of the current Pound-For-Pound leader.

Is the scheduled date of the meeting known? Dana White in a recent live stream on Tuesday, January 5, revealed that he and Khabib will meet next week. So, during the international fight week, we’ll know which way the eagle is probably headed.

The meet-up is also consequential for the Lightweight title, as though he is retired, Khabib is yet to be stripped from the undisputed glory tag.

Therefore, all eyes would be on the scheduled meeting at Abu Dhabi, however, Ali Abdelaziz has recently revealed that the two individuals will have another coming together at Las Vegas in the subsequent weeks.

What Can be the topic of discussion?

Since the 31-year-old has defeated most of the top contenders of the division, hence on what grounds Dana White will try to convince him to come back?

There is a general knowledge that Khabib’s late father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov wanted his son to knock the distinction of 30-0 and wanted him to fight Georges ST-Pierre to reach that mark. So, a fight alongside GSP is a perceptible subject that can be discussed in the meeting. However, who knows what’s in the mind of Dana White, who has cut a confident figure that he will be able to bring Khabib back.
