Just after getting hands on to the ball, Kohli, at the drop of the hat, blindly threw the ball at the bowler’s end. But unfortunately, no one was there as a backup and the ball won the race to gift Kiwis four runs.
Rohit Sharma who witnessed this at the best scene frustrating pointed out to Virat Kohli that there was nobody near the wicket standing as a back-up.
On the contrary, Virat Kohli couldn’t believe what had happened as he just did everything in that fraction of a second who would have also wanted to not take any calculated risk when he blindly went for it.
Time and again we have seen Kohli getting livid with his teammates for their poor fielding or work rate on the turf. But this time, Rohit Sharma expressed his frustration towards Kohli for the irresponsible throw.
