Most of the superstars who leave WWE, often have a bad experience to share. The prime reason for that is the way Vince McMahon used to run things backstage. In fact, many former WWE superstars, who currently work in AEW, left because of Mr. McMahon. However, that’s not the case with the new creative head Triple H. The Game’s healthy relationship with talents was evident when he took over Vince’s role. Recently, ex-WWE star Paige, who now goes by the name Saraya in AEW, shared her work experience with Triple H.
The Anti-Diva was let go by WWE last year in July which led to her debuting in AEW later. Though when she left, Triple H was lying low following her health issues. Recently, Saraya talked about her WWE run and how Triple H reacted to her release. The AEW superstar also had some high praises to make about the current creative head of WWE.
Saraya shared how supportive Triple H had been with her during her WWE days
In a recent interview with Metro, The Anti-Diva recalled the chat she had with HHH after her WWE exit. Saraya called Triple H “fantastic” and then shared how he reacted to her release. She claimed HHH apologized to her for not being there for her.
Not just that, Saraya appreciated the opportunities Triple H gave her while she was not cleared to wrestle. She said The Game made her the GM and was open to allowing her to wrestle. The former WWE superstar claimed HHH was always open to whatever ideas she had. She stated:
“Man, I do love Hunter [Triple H], he’s so fantastic… He did give me the opportunity to potentially be a GM again, and gave me the opportunity to be like, ‘If you ever potentially want to wrestle again, I’ll give you that opportunity too.’ He was very open about any ideas that I had.”
The Anti-Diva also discussed whether she would like to return to WWE. Saraya stated she does not want to go back and hear no to things she wants to do. She appreciated Tony Khan for providing her with the platform to work according to her comfort.
Is there any chance that fans will ever see The Anti-Diva wrestling in the WWE ring?
Well, in the world of pro wrestling, there’s a saying that “Never Say Never”. However, as of now, Saraya, f.k.a Paige making her WWE return seems very far from happening. Though seeing the kind of respect she has for Triple H, who knows, maybe in the future.
Talents do want to work with him. In fact, when he became the creative head, there were talks that some AEW talents wanted to go back to WWE. So if he remains in control for a long time, fans might see Paige coming back to her old home.
Nevertheless, as of now, Saraya is All Elite and will be in action on this week’s Dynamite. She will be teaming up with Toni Storm to face Britt Baker and AEW women’s champion Jamie Hayter.
