“I’d make LeBron James eat the canvas”: MMA fighter Colby Covington continues feud with Lakers star on Twitter
Colby Covington warned NBA fans and players that he’d take LeBron James severely to task if their paths were to cross as fighters.
Covington has been calling LeBron James out for a while now. Their ‘rivalry’, if there is one – LeBron never directly acknowledges Colby – is mainly from the MMA fighter’s side. During August and September, Covington took various shots at LeBron James regarding the BLM movement.
The USA fighter added to his long list of insults for The King yesterday.
Colby Covington’s message for LeBron James
Commenting on the heavily one-sided fight between Nate Robinson and Jake Paul, Colby Covington warned NBA players to stop fighting. He called them the ‘softest and most privileged athletes on the planet’. His rant goes as follows:
“Heard they finally scraped Nate Robinson’s carcass off the Staple Center floor. I’d make LeBron James eat the canvas in half the time. Everyone knows current NBA players are the softest and most privileged athletes on the planet.”
Heard they finally scraped @nate_robinson’s carcass off the @staplescenter floor. I’d make @kingjames eat the canvas in half the amount of time. Everyone knows current @NBA players are the softest and most privileged athletes on the planet. #TysonJones #Facts

LeBron James is never going to suck himself into a fight outside of the domain of his domination. Even if he ever did, he has too much disdain for Donald Trump and his supporters like Colby Covington who’ve worked so hard to undermine his image.
Colby Covington sounds like the heel played by so many pro wrestling fighters in the WWE.
