As much as we hate to say it, LeBron James’s championship window is indeed closing.

Fans may forget at times. But, at the end of the day, the man is 36-years-old. And, he even suffered his first ever major injury that he struggled to come back from. Simply put, if the Lakers don’t do something fast, the consequences for the franchise could be severe.

Fortunately for the franchise, there have been some very good signs on that end. And if Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report is to be believed, if the front office plays its cards right, they could in the finals again next season.

“Lakers have a ton of veteran-type players ready and interested to come sign on minimum deals”: Jake Fischer reveals some good news for the LeBron James led franchise

Yep, that does sound good, but there are caveats to this.

Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report recently got on the Lakers Central podcast. Here he revealed everything fans of the Lakeshow need to about this whole situation.

“The good news for the Lakers is that there is absolutely a large amount of talk from team executives around the league right now that if the Lakers are able to get a Kyle Lowry or make this home run of getting Russell Westbrook and trading Kyle Kuzma for Buddy Hield, let’s say … there’s a lot of speculation right now that seems founded that the Lakers have a ton of veteran-type players ready and interested to come sign on minimum deals and go chase this ring with LeBron [James].”

Those conditions are indeed some really tall hurdles to jump over. However, if the Lakers’ front office can pull this off, they could potentially come back on even footing with even the Brooklyn Nets.

But will all this actually happen though? Only time will tell.
