“NFL Enabled & Allowed Dan Snyder’s Obnoxious Behavior”: Mina Kimes Destroys Roger Goodell & Team Owners For Not Holding Snyder Accountable For His Misdeeds
The Washington Commanders haven’t made the news for a lot of good reasons in the recent past. The team has been surrounded by controversies and scandals and one name that has been discussed more than any other is that of Dan Snyder.
The Commanders were bombarded with toxic workplace environment allegations a while ago and at the center of it was team owner Dan Snyder.
An investigation was launched into the matter and recently, the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Reform filed their final report into the matter after which, NFL fans really lashed out at Snyder.
The report clearly states that Snyder “permitted & even participated” in creating a toxic workplace culture which negatively affected several individuals.
Not only this, the committee’s report also reprimanded the NFL for not co-operating in the investigation against Snyder. “The NFL knew about it, and they took no responsibility,” chairman of the committee Carolyn Maloney told ESPN.
“NFL officials were acting like they were doing something,” Maloney claimed. Carolyn also added that the NFL knew about what was happening but carefully took every single step in order to help Dan in every way possible.

Mina Kimes Wants NFL Team Owners To Hold Dan Snyder Accountable For His Actions
The report further suggests that in order to shield the team owners from facing any kind of trouble, the league tried burying the findings of the investigation which was carried out in 2020-21 regarding the same accusations.
These are eye-opening revelations which really requires the attention of as many people as possible. Expressing her stance on the report, Mina Kimes had a few things to say on ESPN Live.
We’ve spent years talking about how Dan Snyder hasn’t been held accountable. Today’s report makes clear that it’s time to hold the NFL—and the other owners—accountable for enabling his behavior. pic.twitter.com/wCslpkEVtc

“Throughout all of this, the NFL escaped the brunt of the criticism,” Mina said. “What we have here is not just an owner who was engaged in disgraceful behavior over the course of many years, but a league that has been complicit, a league that has enabled him.”
She went on to claim that the report clearly states that the NFL aided Dan in covering up his deeds and also blocked the release of important documents but still, big names haven’t been criticized as much as they should have been.
“Every time Roger Goodell is available to speak, every time any of the 31 owners are available to speak, they need to be asked about this, they need to be asked why are you okay with this owner(Snyder) amongst your race?” Mina claimed.
It will be interesting to see if this controversy ends up catching as much attention as some of the other NFL-related stuff has over the years.
