Justin Herbert Refuses To Say “Turnt” In The Mike On Journalist’s Request After Hinting That The Whole Locker Room Was ‘Wasted’ After The Win Against Titans

Wide receiver Mike Williams provided a fitting description of the scene inside a jubilant Los Angeles Chargers postgame locker room, where music blared, the energy was palpable, and there was music blasting.

Mike Williams smiled and said, “Turnt,” describing the locker room in the video and Justin Herbert, the quarterback, grinned and said, “I’d have to agree with him.”

Sunday’s 17-14 victory over the Tennessee Titans was capped off by kicker Cameron Dicker’s 43-yard field goal moments earlier after Herbert had directed a six-play, 52-yard drive with 44 seconds left.

When asked about this “turnt” thing in the post-game conference, Justin Herbert laughed and responded, “I have to agree with him(Mike Williams). I wouldn’t have said that, but I agree with him. Mike Williams does a great job with description.”

The victory allowed the Chargers to move up to the No. 6 seed in the AFC and helped the Las Vegas Raiders defeat the New England Patriots.

Chargers defeat the Titans with a last-second field goal

In an effort to get something going against the Chargers, the Titans moved west. In the dying seconds of a heartbreaking 17-14 defeat here at SoFi Stadium, their hopes were tragically dashed. Titans coach Mike Vrabel said after the game, “There’s nothing I could tell them to make them not be disappointed, upset. They let it all hang out there.”

The defeat brought the Titans’ record to 7-7. With only three weeks remaining in the regular season, things are getting really serious for the team after their fourth straight loss. The Jaguars (6-8) are now just one game behind the Patriots (6-7) in the AFC South race.

Later in the game, the Titans came back to tie it. The Titans, who were down 14-7 in the final minutes of the game, put together an 11-play, 74-yard drive to tie the score at 14-14 with 48 seconds remaining thanks to a touchdown run by quarterback Ryan Tannehill from one yard out.

However, the Chargers quickly moved down the field, and with four seconds left, kicker Cameron Dicker made a 43-yard field goal to seal the victory.
