Twitter reactions on Alzarri Joseph: Twitter was exhilarated after the IPL debutant registered career-best IPL figures vs SRH.

During the 19th match of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians at Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians fast bowler Alzarri Joseph registered Best-ever IPL figures to hand Indians their third IPL 2019 victory.

Defending 137 runs, Mumbai put on display a stellar bowling performance to restrict the hosts at 96-10 in 17.4 overs. Deepak Hooda, who came in to bat at No. 5, top-scored for his team scoring 20 (20) with the help of one four.

22-year fast bowler Alzarri Joseph, who was included into the side as a replacement for Lasith Malinga, ended up single-handedly winning the match for his side. Introduced into the attack as the second-change bowler in the powerplay, Joseph bowled SRH opening batsman David Warner (15) on the first ball that he bowled.

After making a praiseworthy start to his IPL career, Joseph went on to dismiss opposition batsmen at will. Apart from dismissing as many as six wickets, Joseph also made sure that he bowled economically. Joseph ended up registering bowling figures of 3.4-1-12-6.

After Hyderabad captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar won the toss and put the visitors in to bat, Hyderabad restricted MI to 136-7 in their allotted quota of 20 overs. All-rounder Kieron Pollard, who came in to bat at No. 6, top-scored for MI scoring 46* (26) with the help of two fours and four sixes. With bowling figures of 4-0-34-2, Siddarth Kaul was the pick of the bowlers for SRH.
