Becky Lynch: Raw Women’s Champion slams Mark Henry for calling her arrogant

Becky Lynch: Raw Women’s Champion slams Mark Henry for calling her arrogant in an interview. She has hit out at the hall of famer in a twitter post. But fans are divided over the comment.

Becky Lynch has once again stirred the pot with her response to Mark Henry over the comments he made on Busted Open Radio. The World’s strongest man claimed that Becky was starting to appear more arrogant, a character trope he believes belongs to the heel (villainous) wrestlers instead such as Baron Corbin and Sami Zayn. The WWE hall of famer claimed that he would rather see Lynch as the underdog instead.

Henry said:

“Let’s go back to the Becky that was the underdog, that didn’t get an opportunity, that worked her whole life and then somewhere along the lines they go to where The Rock used to talk about himself in the third person.”

“Don’t do that. That arrogance thing is not for her, that’s for Baron Corbin, that’s for Sami Zayn.”

“If you want to be over then don’t be an a*****e. Be the person that’s like, ‘Look, I’m fighting for the fans. I never had anybody stand up for me.’

“That’s what I want her to be, ‘Nobody ever stood up for me. I had to do it myself.’

“That’s what I want out of Becky. That’s the way it was.”

This did not go well with Becky Lynch who took to twitter to issue a response to Mark.

Becky found several supporters who also agreed with her.

Mark Henry was notified by someone about the backlash.

The former World Heavyweight Champion then explained himself before adding that he would never take advice from social media trolls.

Like Becky, Mark had his own share of followers that agreed with him.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
