DOTA 2 NEWS: Alliance defeat Extremum 2-0 in R1 of ESL One Germany Group Stage. Team Alliance begin their ESL One Germany run with a comfortable 2-0 win against Extremum. Below, you can check out how the B03 series played out on Day 3 of ESL One Germany 2020.
Team Alliance were able to hold Extremum at bay in the Bo3 series. The won the first game comfortably with a 15,000 gold lead. Limmp, who played mid-lane Timbersaw, absolutely destroyed his opposite number on Extremum.
The score-line at the end of the 32-minute game 1 was 40-19 in favor of Alliance.

Alliance supporting cast
However, Alliance had a rough start to game 2. They were down 7-0 in 8 minutes, and it looked like Extremum will take take away the momentum and the map-space from Alliance. But, the supporting cast from Alliance was just too good for Extremum to handle in the mid-game.

Every time Extremum tried to make a play on Alliance’s carries, Handsken was ready. He protected his carry, while at the same time making some brilliant steals and spell-casting, which completely turned the tide of the game.

By 25 minutes, Alliance were firmly in the gold lead and the game ended 15 minutes later. Despite winning the lanes, Extremum lost the game and by extension, the series.
