Having lost to Jimmy Butler, ‘selfless’ Kevin Hart hilariously claims he is a better shooter than Stephen Curry: "Imagine"

Stephen Curry is a walking cheat code and is the greatest shooter the NBA has ever seen. The 4-time champion was recently shooting an advertisement with none other than comedian/actor Kevin Hart. Hart is one of the funniest actors in Hollywood and is also decent at basketball. The two were speaking to Extra TV recently, where Hart claimed that he was a better shooter than Curry. Back in 2019, Hart had said something similar to Jimmy Butler, who proceeded to prove him wrong. He also famously did this with Draymond Green.

Kevin Hart hilariously explained that it was “selfless” of him to stick to acting. The 43-year-old actor asked the Golden State Warriors star to “imagine” how he would break so many records if he was an NBA player.

Kevin Hart convinces Stephen Curry that he’s the better shooter

Hart and Stephen Curry were filming a commercial for Chase. The two were asked how things would have been had they switched their careers. Extra’s Rachel Linsay first turned to Kevin Hart, who immediately answered in characteristic fashion.

Hart claimed that he was one of the only actors who had to choose between basketball and acting. Curry played along and agreed, as the actor explained how the NBA would be a lot faster had he played:

“I don’t know, it was tough for me. But the game would just be a lost faster if I played, I think the numbers would have changed, a lot of records would be broken.”

Steph was obviously amused, and claimed that he appreciated Kevin Hart “leaving something for NBA players.” The Warriors’ star went on to explain that he would not have been standing here had Hart chosen to play basketball professionally. Hart went on to tut his horn a little bit more:

“As a shooter, you greatness is highlighted. Imagine if I was here.. What would happen?

He went on to claim that it was selfless of him to act. When asked about the kind of nicknames he had, Kevin Hart mentioned Hot Feet, and Little Nugget, leaving both Stephen Curry and the interviewer in splits.

Kevin Hart continues rampage against NBA players

Kevin Hart is no stranger to trolling and making fun of NBA players. Back in 2019, he had come across Jimmy Butler in Paris, and ended up claiming that he could outshoot Butler.

The Miami Heat superstar claimed that he could beat him while shooting from his left, and went on to prove his point. Over the years, Hart has participated in multiple Celebrity All-Star games, almost beating Draymond Green in a 3-point contest in 2016.

2 years later, in 2018, Hart hilariously tried to recruit LeBron James to his hometown team the Philadelphia 76ers. The Jumanji actor sent LeBron $40 and texted him, “Come to Philly.”Of course, LeBron did not heed his advice and instead chose the LA Lakers.
