The 149th edition of the Kentucky Derby held so much significance, especially because it engaged with the NFL fraternity. The opening “Riders up” command for the race was made by Patrick Mahomes, with several other quarterbacks joining the event.

He was accompanied by the longest-tenured Packer, David Bakhtiari, his best man in the NFL, who is now a Raider, Davante Adams, former linebacker A.J. Hawk, and receivers like Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb.
According to Christopher Kuhagen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, several members of the squad attended the pre-Derby party on Friday that was held at the $1.2 million Bonnycastle home of Patricia Barnstable Brown in Louisville, Kentucky.
Rodgers shared the pictures alongside Adams and Lazard on his Instagram story. He captioned the post, saying, “Everyone thinks the Derby is about the winning horse when the lesson is, it’s about the fellowship and friends that we made along the way.”
