In classic troll Dapr way, The former SEN member announced that he was joining G2 by posting the above tweet. It might be a little extreme, but it has been a long time since he was tired of waiting around. Sentinels did not know how to use Dapr since Masters 1. Granted, they did win a championship together, but since then, Sentinel’s gameplay has fallen. It will be interesting to see how the new team performs with the involvement of zekken and dephh.
ShahZam has also entered G2 after his previous controversy with his former organization. He was removed from the team but claimed he was not informed of the decisions. Sentinels also put him in the Hall of Fame. ShahZam has not made a move until now, joining G2 out of the blue. The only problem is that G2 Esports is not an organization that has qualified for VCT 2023 due to its controversies. Their reputation will only be a problem going forward.
With the acquisition of dapr and ShahZam, two of the most skilled members of the Sentinels, it will be interesting to see what G2 does with the dapr’s skill and ShahZam’s unorthodox calling. With the addition of newer talent like wippie and penny, this organization is sure to heat up in the future.
