Conor McGregor and Artem Lobov’s dissension has reached a boiling point, it appears. The Irishman has called out his former friend to a street fight to settle their disputes.

Martial arts connoisseur Conor McGregor entrenched himself as an elite businessman in 2021, when he sold his Irish whisky, ‘Proper 12’ for an estimated $600 Million.

Although one may have assumed that the relationship could have yet been salvaged following the announcement of the first lawsuit, the relationship may have very well now reached its breaking point in light of the announcement of the second lawsuit.

With the pair’s relationship now officially deteriorated, McGregor, late last night, in a series of now-deleted tweets, called out ‘Rushammer’ for a fight.

Taking to Twitter, the ‘Notorious’ stated

“Artem is trying to sue me and my father for defamation now as well ahahaja oh lord, god bless. Artem you look like an uncooked sausage of a thing. Jump on the pan for minute pal you look rough mate. God bless ya pal.”

This was just one tweet out of three. The 34-year-old went on to comment on Lobov’s appearance, comparing him to a sausage, before finally issuing a challenge to the Russian, asking him to meet at ‘SBG Concord’.

“This is a call out to Artem ‘the fanny, fairy pad’ Lobov. I’m challenging you to a fight tonight. 10:30 p.m. I’ll meet you down at SBG Concorde and we’ll fight for the whole lot. We’ll fight for the whole lot. Having lawyers message me about defamation and all this suing and all. You’re a little fairy, you’re a little blouse mate.”

SBG Concorde happens to be the gym the pair used to train at during their formative days, prior to clinching stardom. A fitting spot, wouldn’t you agree?

Oh, how the tables have turned. The conflict between the pair has attested to McGregor’s famous words in 2015, which must be echoing loud during this time.

“There are no friends in this game.”

The discord between Conor McGregor and Artem Lobov!

Artem Lobov recently made the headlines within the mixed martial arts community, and it’s certainly for an intriguing reason. The Russian, in an unforeseen turn of events, has decided to sue his former best friend, Conor McGregor, for a 5% stake in the sale of his liquor company.

Lobov, in a post dating back to August, claimed that he was the initial originator behind the now-global brand, ‘Proper 12’. And as per a statement by his attorney Dermot McNamara, Lobov has professed that he was the “initial creator and co-founder of the concept to launch an Irish whiskey brand”.

Earlier today, the former two-weight world champion sent out another message of his own to his former training partner.

“My da 63 year of age getting lawyer letters off artem omg. You told my da and me that you keep rodents and reptiles as pets. Rats and snakes are your thing you said, you relate to them you said to us. Do you not remember? You absolute jackass.”

With McGregor declaring that he has been served with a second lawsuit, it’s prudent that the ‘Notorious’ one thinks of his actions, before stating anything he might regret as time passes on.

The 5% being sought by the 36-year-old would amount to roughly $30 Million. A substantial amount of money.

Will the pair reconcile?

As is the norm, within the martial arts spectrum, seldom do we come upon scenarios where athletes who were friends first, before transcending into bitter enemies, and at long last, rekindle their friendship.

Taking into consideration the magnitude of the subject, it is extremely unlikely that the pair resolves their differences in harmony. A disappointing end to a meaningful friendship.
