Has Conor McGregor Entered the USADA Testing Pool: What Did the UFC Star Say About His Return?
USADA officials recently made a statement that has brought a wave of joy to Conor McGregor’s fans. The Irishman has been out of action for nearly two years following a horrific leg break injury suffered in his fight against Dustin Poirier. Despite being on the sidelines, McGregor’s eagerness to return inside the octagon is evident as he is currently busy with coaching duties for the upcoming TUF 31. What adds to the excitement is that McGregor will face off against Michael Chandler in a highly anticipated fight once the season concludes.
However, before Conor McGregor can step back into the octagon, there is a requirement he must fulfill. Since announcing his retirement after the bout with Poirier, McGregor will need to enter the USADA pool and meet their testing requirements. This prerequisite ensures that he clears all necessary procedures before competing again.
The situation surrounding McGregor’s return has generated significant buzz. McGregor himself claims that there was a secret meeting being held to discuss the possibility of an exemption, allowing him to fight without the mandatory six-month pool time. However, there is really exciting news for the fans anticipating development on the issue. USADA officials are confirming that McGregor is entering the pool.
