‘I’ll knock Dustin out inside 60 seconds’: Conor McGregor predicts the outcome of the upcoming fight with Dustin Poirier
Conor McGregor predicts an early finish against Dustin Poirier. The fight is scheduled to take place on January 23 at UFC 257.
The much-anticipated rematch between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier- A phrase that has become ad nauseam- is now less than two weeks away. In the wake of it, what’s inevitable has started to become conspicuous. The build-up process has apparently picked up the pace this past week, as statements from both ends particularly from Conor McGregor’s side rained in.
Now, adding another solid in an already refined alloy, the Notorious one has laid out his bold prediction for the upcoming match with Dustin Poirier.

Conor McGregor predicts the outcome of the upcoming fight with Dustin Poirier
In what could be perceived as a snippet of a new promo of the fight, Conor McGregor went Mystic Mac about the fight and stated that he will finish the diamond inside the first 60 minutes of the match.
He said: “I like Dustin, I think he is a good fighter. He’s even a great fighter you know, but great and still levels below me. I’ll knock Dustin out inside 60 seconds.”

The same video also showcases Dustin Poirier speaking, “On January 23rd, I’ll get my hand raised through any means possible,” and whether it is coincidental or not, at almost around the same time when this video dropped, Dustin Poirier took to Instagram to post a still of one of his victories and left a caption that said “Victory.”

Back in 2014 when the two collided, the scenes were similar, there were claims made before the match and at that time the Irishman proved to be too much for the Lafayette native. However, it is 2021 now and a lot has changed since 2014.
So, as the ultimate day is approaching, with each passing day the excitement level will also certainly hit another level but, the question will remain the same, i.e., Will the Diamond shine this time around, or will it be the Mystic Mac who will strike once again?
