Donald Trump

As the 2024 presidential elections approach, former US President Donald Trump has found himself stuck in legal trouble. He is facing a whopping 37 criminal accusations. This is the first time in American history that a former president has faced criminal accusations of this gravity. The claims leveled against Trump are astounding. It is reported that he illegally kept files of highly classified information, including critical US military plans and even nuclear programs.

Surprisingly, these sensitive data were discovered during an FBI search at his luxury private club, Mar-a-Lago, Florida. If he is proven guilty, the former president may face serious consequences, including a lengthy prison sentence.

Following the news, many people have taken to their social media accounts to share their opinions on it. One of them is the UFC middleweight star, Sean Strickland.

What did Sean Strickland say about Donald Trump?

Sean Strickland is well-known for his outspoken personality. He never hesitates to express his opinions on any subject, no matter how contentious. He said the same thing about Donald Trump’s arrest.

The UFC middleweight fighter appeared to be critical of Trump’s arrest so close to the election. Strickland expressed his displeasure over the situation on Twitter, writing:

“Not a Trump fan but man 37 charges before a election….. .. Hard to even look an a U.S. flag with respect these days.”

However, not all MMA fans agreed with the combatant. Some even chastised him for it. However, as previously seen, Strickland will stick to his staunch opinions.

Sean Strickland’s next UFC fight

The 32-year-old middleweight fighter has a professional fighting record of 26-5. After making his UFC debut in 2014, he had a solid start. Strickland was on a six-fight winning streak from 2018 to 2022.

Another victory in the same year would have earned him a crack at the crown. But Strickland was defeated by Alex Pereira at UFC 276. Later that year, he was defeated again by Jared Cannonier. Interestingly, the 32-year-old has returned to the winner’s circle following a victory in January 2023.

Strickland is now back on track for the middleweight belt with a win over Nassourdine Imavov in Jan 2023. The American fighter’s next bout will be against Abus Magomedov.

In the first week of July, both combatants will headline a UFC Fight Night. This is a crucial match for Strickland, since a win will move him closer to the middleweight crown.

What are your thoughts on Strickland’s next fight? What do you guys think about his tweet?
