Roman Reigns has been an undefeated champion for more than 800 days now. In his last title defense, The Tribal Chief defeated YouTube Star Logan Paul at Crown Jewel. Although WWE featured him at Survivor Series WarGames, his championship was not on the line. Instead, Reigns, alongside his Bloodline, faced team Sheamus in the main event. Now, as per the latest reports, WWE has already planned the next two opponents for Roman Reigns.
Despite losing the advantage match on SmackDown, The Bloodline managed to win their WarGames match. The ending moments also saw Sami Zayn betraying his old friend Kevin Owens. Well, if the latest reports are believed to be true, both men might face The Head of the Table next.
WWE plans to put Roman Reigns against Kevin Owen at Royal Rumble, and then Sami Zayn
According to WrestlingNews.co, sources within WWE have stated that currently, Kevin Owens is next in line to challenge Roman Reigns. The report claims The PrizeFighter will go one-on-one with The Bloodline leader at Royal Rumble in January.
WrestlingNews.co also noted that at some point, WWE was also considering Sheamus as the next opponent for Roman Reigns. However, the plans have changed now, and instead of The Celtic Warrior, Owens will face Reigns.
For the last few weeks, there were speculations about The Honorary Uce fighting the Undisputed Champion at Royal Rumble. However, according to WrestlingNews, WWE might not consider that option until the 2023 Elimination Chamber.
The said event will be taking place in Zayn’s hometown of Montreal, Quebec. Though, the report made it clear that WWE won’t be dethroning Roman Reigns until WrestleMania 39.

The Honorary Uce has finally proved his loyalty towards The Bloodline
Despite all the rumors and Jey Uso’s suspicions, Sami Zayn proved his allegiance with The Tribal Chief and his Bloodline. Heading into the recent pay-per-view, almost everyone thought that this will be Zayn’s last outing with The Bloodline.
However, the result was something else as The Honorary Uce proved everyone wrong. Though, his loyalty came at the cost of a long-term friendship. At Survivor Series WarGames, Zayn hit a low blow to Owens allowing Jey Uso to hit his splash and secure a win.
Nevertheless, as of now, all seems well within The Bloodline which makes the whole storyline more gripping. Plus, there are rumors about Zayn and Owens facing The Usos at Wrestlemania 39 for the undisputed tag team titles. However, it will be interesting to see how WWE will separate the Honorary Uce from The Bloodline.
