WWE SmackDown May 28 2019 Results: Matches, Live Updates and Results. The SportsRush presents to you the results from tonight’s SmackDown.

WWE SmackDown Live (May 28, 2019) will emanate tonight from the Bok Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The matches advertised for tonight are

Here are the results so far:

Kofi Kingston Vs Kevin Owens

The show opens with a recap of Kofi Kingston’s beatdown at the hands of Dolph Ziggler last week. Another video package of Kevin Owen’s betrayal follows.

Kevin walks out and expresses his desire to beat Kofi and believes that Ziggler will also do the same. He then says that he had nothing to do with Big E getting jumped last week.

Kofi Kingston walks out. He looks very angry and calls Owens a liar. Their match begins immediately after.

Kofi starts off by drop kicking Owens. Owens gains control but Kofi manages to fightback. He hits Owens with the ‘Trouble in Paradise’ but Owens manages to kick out!

Owens kicks the WWE Champion out of the ring and splashes him. Kingston barely manages to break the 10 count. Owens then lands a Senton on kofi but he still manages to kick out.

Kofi manages another fightback and finally lands another ‘Trouble in Paradise’ for the win as the camera goes backstage to Dolph who was watching the match.

BackStage Segments

Shane McMahon appears on screen with his lackies, Drew McIntyre and Elias.

R-Truth is on the run as he complains about the difficulties that come with being the European Champion.

Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan’s first challengers

Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan address the condition of the SmackDown tag team division in an interview by Kayla Braxton. Bryan calls the division a joke; not one that makes them laugh, but cringe.

He vows to save the division by becoming the best tag team in history along with Rowan. Bryan then begins to berate the Oklahoma crowd.

Kayla then interrupts Bryan and informs him that there is one team that wants to challenge him. Out come Heavy Machinery. Tucker challenges Bryan. He accepts but says that they will wrestle on another date and not in the Frackin State of Oklahoma .

Mandy Rose Vs Carmella

Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville celebrate Mandy being on the front page of a health magazine. The duo anger Ember Moon before Mandy’s match with Carmella.

Mandy shows off the magazine but Carmella kicks it out of her hands. Mandy hits Carmella with a running knee and goes for the pin but Carmella kicks out. Carmella fights back but is interrupted by Sonya Deville at the apron. Mandy takes advantage of the distraction and pins Carmella for the win.

More Backstage segments

We go backstage again to find Truth navigating his way to safety. Jinder Mahal ambushes Truth but the 24/7 champion manages to throw him behind a door and hide in the photo booth.

Truth gets out after the other wrestlers run past the booth. He runs into Drake Maverick and apologizes to him not realising who it is. He then makes a run for it.

Aleister Black gives another Promo. He says that he understands that people want him to pick a name to call out. Instead he’s waiting for someone to pick him.

Shane McMahon appreciation night

Shane McMahon announces that today is Shane McMahon appreciation night. He announces that it was Drew’s idea and brags about how humble he is.

A video package of Shane mcMahon plays on the screen. He thanks Kevin Dunn for the production. The crowd boo and he asks them not to boo Dunn. He then talks about Roman and how he plans to beat some respect into the Samoan.

Elias sings a song for the self proclaimed best in the world but gets interrupted by Truth who has run to the ring. realising that there’s only Drake Maverick behind him, Truth fights him and pins him.

His celebrations are cut short by an Irate McMahon who attacks Truth. Elias hits the Driftaway and McIntyre finishes him off with a Claymore Kick. Elias pins Truth to win his first ever title in WWE. The Drifter is your new 24/7 champion!

Shane then announces a match for later in the night. Drew McIntyre and Elias will partner together against R-Truth and Roman Reigns. The Prodigal son suspends the 24/7 rule till the completion of said match to allow Elias to focus on his upcoming match.

Lacey Evans Vs Bayley

Lacey Evans and Charlotte flair are seen backstage sipping on some tea before Lacey’s match against Bayley.

Charlotte sits at commentary as Bayley starts a cross brand match against Lacey.  The two have a quick back and forth before Bailey falls outside. Charlotte teases attacking the SmackDown women’s champion but decides not to.

Bayley however doesn’t hold back when the opportunity presents itself and she sucker punches Charlotte. Charlotte comes running to get her vengeance but instead ends up distracting the referee who fails to see Lacey roll Bayley up. Bayley reverses the roll up into one of her own and wins the match.

After the match Lacey attacks Charlotte in a fir of rage but is quickly taken down by the Queen.

Andrade gives a short interview promoting his match against Finn Balor at Super ShowDown.

Roman Reigns and R-Truth Vs Elias and Drew McIntyre

R-Truth gets jumped by Elias and McIntyre before he can even make it to the ring. Roman comes for the save and the match begins.

Roman takes on both Drew and Elias but the never game starts to prove heavy. R-Truth offers to tag in despite being beaten up. R-Truth gets worked on by the heels but manages to fight back. He hot tags Roman who takes on all the heels. McIntyre takes himself out of the equation by missing a Claymore kick onto the announcers table.

Elias attempts to take advantage of the distraction but eats a spear instead. Roman pins Elias for the win. With the match over the suspension of the 24/7 rules have now been lifted. Roman Spears Elias once again. R-Truth pins Elias to close the show as the first ever 2-time 24/7 champion.
