LeBron James reposted a training video of Russell Westbrook involved in the Wizards’ preseason training session. 

The Wizards are revving up their preparations to return to the playoffs for the first time in 3 seasons. Among the 6 teams not to have played in preseason yet, expectations in the Wizards camp are sky high. Westbrook said in an interview that he’s feeling good about their championship odds.

Given how he looks to be performing in this video, you can clearly see how he’s gelling well with his new teammates.

LeBron James loves Russell Westbrook vibing with new Wizards teammates

The 4-time Finals MVP, LeBron beat Westbrook and his Rockets en route to his 4th championship in 5 games. The playoffs were a clear demonstration of what the Rockets lacked in their pursuit of a title.

Given his illustrious and successful career in the league, James knows the importance of intangibles better than anyone. And Russ has the reputation of being one of the most agreeable superstars in the locker room. While Russ is at a crossroads in his career, on his 3rd franchise, he still has the ability to power the Wizards to the playoffs. In John Wall’s injury-enforced absence over the last two seasons, they have missed the postseason on each occasion.

Westbrook and Beal have the potential to be as dynamic, if not more, than peak Wall and Beal. The shooting guard demonstrated his elite scoring ability to the fullest last season, and he could continue in the same vein with a facilitator like the Brody next to him.
