The Warzone 2.0 meta is in a different spot than it was in the earlier seasons. In the early days, guns like the Fennec 45 and the RPK were the dominant ones but that has drastically changed. This meta has seen lots of new changes.

Many new weapons such as the Lachmann 556, the ISO 45, and the MCPR-300 are leading weapons in their respective categories. The FSS Hurricane is an underrated SMG in the game. A lot of people go for its faster counterparts but it can hold its own against all of them. That is why, we need to create a loadout that will not only do the job but also excel at it.

That is why, we will need some good attachments that are going to help in dealing with the supposed shortcomings of the weapon. For that, you will need to unlock the weapon first. Only after that will you be able to put your favorite attachments on it. Without further ado, let us see how you can do that.

How to Unlock the FSS Hurricane in Warzone 2.0

Unlocking the FSS Hurricane is a definite grind if you want to do it the traditional way. To unlock the weapon, you will need to get the FTac Recon to Level 16. You can unlock the FTac Recon by leveling the M4 to Level 13. That is why, to get the FSS Hurricane, you’d want to unlock two other weapons first.

However, if you were to try unlocking it through the DMZ mode, you can do it by exfilling with the FSS Hurricane in your hand in any match and it will automatically be available for you in the gunsmith permanently. This method saves you a lot of time and is one of the ways to unlock new weapons.

Attachment Breakdown

  • Ammunition: 5.7x28mm Overpressured +P
  • Rear Grip: XTEN Grip
  • Stock: Demo Quicksilver Stock
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
  • Barrel: FSS-X7 Barrel

The first attachment we are going to utilize is the 5.7x28mm Overpressured +P Ammunition. It is one of the best Ammunition attachments for SMGs because it can cause your enemies to flinch while aiming. This is crucial since you will decrease their effective accuracy while being on target yourself.

Follow that up with the XTEN Grip to increase your ADS and sprint to fire speed. This increase in mobility can help you in close quarters which the gun was designed for. The Demo Quicksilver Stock is for your overall movement speed and mobility. It boosts the ADS, crouch movement speed, sprint speed, and aim walking speed so that you are quick to aim and kill.

The FSS OLE-V Laser is a staple in SMG builds due to its versatility. It provides both mobility and stability to the weapon by increasing the ADS speed, sprint-to-fire speed, and aiming stability of the weapon. Finish the loadout with the FSS-X7 Barrel.

The FSS-X7 Barrel is going to help you increase the TTK of the weapon. This attachment provides sound suppression, hip-fire accuracy, damage range, and bullet velocity thus rounding out the weapon. Now that we have our attachments, let us take a look at what secondaries you can use along with the perks and equipment.

Secondary, Perks and Equipment

The first thing we need is a good secondary which does not leave any gaps after the SMG. That is why, we recommend going with either an AR or a Sniper Rifle depending on your comfort and the map. If it’s a Resurgence map go with an AR, and if it’s Al Mazrah go with a Sniper Rifle. The M4 and the MCPR respectively are good options for the same.

Now, let us break down the perks for the same.

  • Base Perk 1: Overkill
  • Base Perk 2: Double Time
  • Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
  • Ultimate Perk: High Alert
  • Lethal: Drill Charge
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade

The first perk is Overkill. It allows us to carry two primary weapons. Therefore, you can carry the FSS Hurricane with any other primary you want. Follow that up with Double Time to double the duration of the tactical sprint and increase the crouch movement speed.

With Fast Hands, you can easily switch your primary faster than usual and it also increases your equipment using speed and reload speed at the same time. You can also equip Spotter instead. Finish the perk setup with High Alert.

With High Alert, enemies won’t be able to catch you off guard because your vision will pulse every time an enemy outside your LoS will look at you. You can use this pulse to get to safety. For the lethal, go with a Drill Charge to flush out enemies from inside the buildings and a Smoke Grenade to get away from unnecessary gunfights.

Why Should You Use This Loadout?

This loadout is custom-made for aggressive players who like to get close to the enemy and finish them. With the movement speed and the mobility offered by the FSS Hurricane, you can easily kill enemies fast in close to medium-range gunfights despite the changes.

In addition, you will have your secondary primary for long ranges so that will be of huge help when needed. The perk setup is designed for an aggressive approach and thrives in that environment while the equipment is a good balance of offense and defense.
