Kyrie Irving finally gets to give his jersey to Bam Adebayo following their game last night, but he had to make sure to do it discreetly.

After getting swept in their miniseries against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Brooklyn Nets followed sit and swept the Miami Heat 2-0 in their miniseries. Their first bout was a nail-biter but the Nets pulled away after clutch buckets from Kyrie Irving and James Harden in the final minute of the game.
Following the 128-124 Nets win against the Heat a couple of nights back, Kyrie Irving and Bam Adebayo looked to exchange their jerseys with another. Nets security didn’t let this happen however as they claimed it violated the NBA’s health and safety protocol.
Kyrie Irving took this as a challenge and set out to hand Bam his jersey one way or another at the end of last night’s game.

Kyrie Irving had a below average outing last night against the Heat as he scored 16 points on an inefficient 6-17 shooting from the field. Both KD and Kyrie deferred to Harden in the clutch as he led the Nets to victory by scoring 10 straight in the 4th quarter.
Right after the game ended and players greeted each other, Kyrie called for Bam to grab his attention on the opposite side of the court. When Bam finally made his way to Kyrie, the 2016 champion sneakily handed his jersey to the Heat center.
It is unclear whether or not security caught this or not because Irving was making it quite obvious that he wanted to give Bam his jersey. A security guard can be seen standing quite close to both stars in the video. Perhaps he let it slide to avoid any escalation of the situation.
This jersey ‘swap’ wasn’t exactly a swap as Kyrie simply handed his jersey to Bam without taking his in return. This was quite reminiscent of the time when Zion hilariously gave JaVale McGee his jersey during his rookie season, but didn’t even wait for McGee to give him his.
